The savage kroot are a subject-race of the alien Tau Empire, and their carnivore kindreds fight wherever the Empire has need of the Kroots' prodigous tracking and fieldcraft skills. The Kroot hail from the jungle of world of Pech, a planet rife with alien life, all sharing the same genetic heritage. Thus, when Kroot fight, alongside their warriors can be found a manner of distantly related warrior beasts, from the vicious Kroot Hounds to the lumbering Krootox.

These are my all-time favourite characters in Warhammer. I don't care how much you say they suck, I adore this race.
