UPDATE: CHANGED A FEW THINGS Thanks to all of the people who spotted mistakes and offered their helpful insights! I've changed a couple minor things and posted the revised version. Due to how long it took to complete, though, I'm going to consider this one completely finished as of now! _______________________________________________
CAN YOU HANDLE ALL THIS CLASS? It's finally finished. Mother of God...
This commission was started back in late 2011. It's the biggest group picture I've ever done, so it was a much-needed kick in the pants, because I've been lazy with simple, single-character stuff lately. The commissioner has been amazingly patient with me. I told him it would take 2 or 3 months, and it ended up taking 6 or 7. I've lost track.
ANYWAY! Here are the names of the Pokemon featured:
I love how you made them look just like real people! It is something i have never seen before. I can't tell what is the main picture, in a good way. I also think it is very colourful.
The first thing i saw was the fire. I think you should switch Machamp and Charizard. When i was done looking at all of the Pokemon, i noticed on the wall it says, 'The Council' and i was wondering what that meant.
Also, you should make Arceus and Mewtwo a little bigger. I barely noticed either of them so.....
I like quite the colourfulness and the detail of the piece, but i do have to mention the problem of the layout and the overall composition, and i could just ask "What is the point of focus of this piece?"
Well we have a very eye attracting flame, a very centred arrangement, and a framing on both sides with help of the windows, every thing points at the centre, BUT the centre is the less colourful part of the piece, all 3 blue-ish characters already kind of blend with the background and are sandwiched by very attractive red colours on both sides.
If you moved charizard and his flame to the middle, along with scizor the colour composition would match your overall centred piece.
Didn't really put much thought into Scizor's gender-- I don't think the commissioner specified! Also didn't know the gender difference was in the abdomen!

I give it 4 Pichus.
