Mind you, I play alot of WoW too, so I remembered the meanings of some of the slang.

... okay, from what I know of abbreviation-speak, I can translate a bit of that...

PL: Power level. AKA "Plow through the game as fast as possible in getting to lvl 50, because after all who cares about the journey when the destination gets you, well, stuff?"

Toon: Another name for character. Why, I don't know.

Farming: Where you start a mission, almost complete it, leave the map so it resets the bad guys, then go in again for moar XP. About as fun as it sounds.

Ganked: The online equivalent of waiting for someone you're playing a console game with goes to the bathroom, then unpausing it and slaughtering their sitting duck character. Just as sportsmanlike as it sounds, but be glad there's no looting in CoV.

Bridging: When a person powerlevels to 30 (or whatever) and needs someone to PL them through the 30s and onto the 40s.

SF: Strike Force SG: Super Group LK: Lackey

DING!: General exclimation when someone hits a new level

SB: Speed Boost as in the Kinetics power, I believe.

To be honest though, I did know a majority of them, but it was like.... 'oh crap... what's that mean again...?!' after signing on for the first time in months.. XDD
